Is GOD happy about our Fasting?

We hear about fasting prayers many times. But see what GOD is saying about fasting. When we fast, are we mindful of our language, are we mindful of our doings and are we mindful to do things that are acceptable and sweet to GOD?
During fasting, if we are seeking our own pleasure, or if we are using filthy language to criticize somebody (first of all, it is for GOD to judge and not us, else we will be judged by GOD for all that we judge others), if we are involving in unwanted or useless talk and worldly discussions, if we ignore the poor and needy, if we suppress the remembrance of someone who is in need, if we are cursing someone, if we are oppressing or extracting more labor from our hired laborers or workers, if we are quarreling with someone and exercising ego feelings, if we are spoiling peace or relationship between any persons with our gossips and useless talk,  then there is no meaning in our fasting. 

We need to spend time ‘for GOD’ and ‘in GOD’ to the most possible extent during fasting. If we are not able to spend time for GOD, at least we should refrain from gossiping and ill talking. We should not turn away our eye from any one seeking help, we should not turn away a beggar, we should forgive others and if we face any one cursing us, we should take that to the LORD in prayer and also ask GOD to forgive them and change their attitude towards us. And then GOD will look at our petition, our prayer will have a sweet smell and GOD hastens HIS answer, else our prayer can give HIM a foul smell.

Isaiah 58: 3 – 5

³`Why have we fasted,' say they, `and Thou seest not? Why have we afflicted our soul, and thou takest no note?' Behold, in the day of your fast ye find pleasure, and exploit all your laborers.

   ⁴Behold, ye fast for strife and debate, and to smite with the fist of wickedness; ye shall not fast as ye do this day, to make your voice to be heard on high.

   ⁵Is it such a fast that I have chosen? A day for a man to afflict his soul? Is it to bow down his head as a bulrush, and to spread sackcloth and ashes under him? Wilt thou call this a fast, and an acceptable day to the LORD?

GOD does not take pleasure to see HIS children fasting but HE seeks righteousness and true worship from HIS children. He takes pleasure when HIS children do things right and worship in true form and meaning. Then a righteous person’s fasting prayer has more power when it reaches GOD.

When we attend to cries of the poor during fasting, our prayer smells sweet to GOD. When we ask GOD to remove our weaknesses and help us gain control over weakness within us, then our fasting prayers appear righteous before GOD. 

We can discuss on GOD’s word if we have time, we can preach/ talk to someone about GOD’s mercy and HIS manifold works, we can meditate on HIS word and pray sitting in office also (if not possible at least avoiding useless talks). We can honor GOD even more if working employees take permission or leave to spend time with GOD and meditate upon HIS word.

The recent threat to believers is TV right inside their homes distracting their attention towards News, ‘important’ serials, cricket, etc (watching GOD related programs always on TV, without ourselves getting rooted in the Word and prayer will also steal our time from GOD, so first we should spend time privately with GOD by reading word and praying, and then we can increase our knowledge and faith from the preaching in TV and we also should be in a situation to cross-check the preaching in TV whether it is referred from Bible or not). 
Spending more than reasonable time on ‘anything’ else keeping aside GOD will become worship of that particular thing. So we should beware not to fall into satan’s vile devices and avoid worshipping other things unknowingly.

Mathew 22: 37, 38

³⁷ Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

³⁸ This is the first and great commandment.

See what the LORD is saying about the kind of fasting that HE likes…

Isaiah 58: 6 - 11
   ⁶"Is this not the fast that I have chosen: to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?

   ⁷Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house?--when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him, and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh?

   ⁸Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily; and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the LORD shall be thy rear guard.

   ⁹Then shalt thou call, and the LORD shall answer; thou shalt cry, and He shall say, `Here I am.' If thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke, the pointing of the finger and speaking vanity (wickedness),

   ¹⁰and if thou draw out thy soul to the hungry and satisfy the afflicted soul, then shall thy light rise in obscurity (your light will dawn in darkness) and thy darkness be as the noonday.

   ¹¹And the LORD shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones; and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water whose waters fail not. 

Many of us may think because I am in prayer (at home), I have not seen anyone crying for food or anyone in need outside. But is each one of us not aware (?) that there are many people begging or needy outside? We could at least carry the food that we do not eat (or the approximate money equal to cost of the food) and lend it to someone?
Yes, to do GOD’s work, why are we not running after them to exercise our faith works instead of those people running after us? Can we imagine how much we force GOD to bless us with these small deeds?
If we do not fast to GOD’s liking, we will only make our body weak, but our fasting will be devoid of GOD’s notice.
If somebody is wrongly accusing us, we should pray GOD to forgive them and help them understand about us. Then GOD will bless us and if they are worthy they will be blessed, else they will be punished.

Romans 12:20

Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.

And one more important point here is – Is it as easy as it appears to forgive someone?
‘NO’. For this fleshy body it is not possible. We may think that we have forgiven but actually we remember their accusation as often as possible and also whenever we require discussing. How can we call this real forgiveness?  

We can only feel real forgiveness when we earnestly seek it from GOD. So we should ask GOD to help us adorn this ornament of forgiveness. Not once, but many times continuously we should seek this from GOD. We can make out what feelings we hold towards others within us. Then we should remember that GOD is warning us of our ill feelings. Then we should confess this weakness immediately near GOD and seek HIS help in overcoming this. We should forgive others because we are already forgiven. 

Ephesians 4:32

And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

GOD understands that our body is sinful and we are already born with sin. HE reconciled to this sinful nature of man through the blood of JESUS shed upon the cross for mankind. If we do not believe that we are already forgiven, it means that we do not trust the blood of Christ (OR) we are in doubt about the power of the blood of Christ that carried away the sins of this world.

John 1:29

The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

When we forgive others, our prayers will have faster answers.
May GOD bless this word in saving more souls for HIS eternal kingdom.

Do you know that we sin when we fear?

Where there is ‘Spirit of GOD’ there is ‘Liberty’. We are born by ‘Spirit’ living in ‘Flesh’.

John 4:24

God [is] a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship [HIM] in spirit and in truth.

Spirit is more real than the natural. This is not understood in this ‘REAL’ world.

Spirit beings are more powerful and more real than any natural being. When spirit being takes control, then natural bodies will not have any dominion.

JESUS when HE cursed the fig tree, HE did not do anything physically to the tree but cursed it in SPIRIT.

Mark 11: 12 – 14

¹² And on the morrow, when they were come from Bethany, he was hungry:

¹³ And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply (perhaps) he might find any thing thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not [yet].
¹⁴ And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard [it].
Then the next day as they were passing by, Jesus disciples finds the fig tree dried up c-o-m-p-l-e-t-e-l-y.

Mark 11: 20, 21

²⁰ And in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots.

²¹ And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away.

Every problem has a root. We are looking at the problem and not the root. But Jesus removes the problem from the root. The fig tree also got dried up from its root.

(This is also figurative of the fact that every tree which doesn’t bear good fruit will be destroyed. Usually figs sprout along with /or before leaves. Jesus finds fig tree already with leaves, so HE goes near it expecting some fruit but finds none.)
There are some spiritual forces which want to control this Earth. These are the powers of darkness which belong to satan.

Ephesians 6:12

12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high [places].

One prominent dangerous demonic spirit is the ‘spirit of fear ‘. The ‘fear factor’ is used by satan to inflict fear in a believer so that HE does not believe GOD or exercise faith. Fear suppresses faith in GOD. Even the Israelites were inflicted with this fear factor about their enemies, because of which they lost faith many times before GOD. The same GOD who led Israel before is now leading us. We have a too powerful GOD fighting for us, so we need not be afraid for anything in this world, be it disease or demonic influence or problem or regarding problem of any person to whom we are emotionally attached. Only we need to exercise faith, building up loads and loads of faith every day.

Deuteronomy 3: 22

²² Ye shall not fear them: for the LORD your God HE shall fight for you.

We should overcome this fear by prayer, submitting to GOD even in fasting, asking GOD to help us overcome this fear and build up faith in us which can work miracles instead of troubles.
To fear is ‘sin’ because ‘To fear not’ is GOD’s commandment to us. If we do not follow GOD’s commandment, we sin. How many times have we sinned, knowingly or unknowingly..?
Joshua 1: 9
⁹ Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God [is] with thee whithersoever thou goest.

Is JESUS GOD of America only..?!!?

Is JESUS GOD of America only? JESUS is born in Asia in Bethlehem of Israel. HE belongs to Nazareth in Israel. Israel is in the center of the globe and a very small country. But they are the strongest people on earth financially and technologically. Israel falls in the center of the globe geographically. JESUS has divided the time and because HE is real, the whole world accepted HIS era. HE is born before nearly 2000 years from now. The birth of JESUS is a big event. Wise and learned men traveled towards the west from the east guided by a large star in order to worship the baby who is born. Time is divided as BC (Before CHRIST) and AD (Anno Domini meaning - time from the birth of JESUS or year of our LORD).

If America has a GOD, say for example, that means each country has a different and own God. There should have been many Gods. India alone has 3300 crore Gods. So, lets explore... have many Gods come together and divided the globe saying this is your place or country and this will be mine? Is this possible? Can all Gods peacefully distribute the lands without any problem or without conflict for power, ownership and authority? Or can each GOD create moon, another sun, another stars, etc?  Then we would have  had many days without sun or moon or stars, etc because of the conflicts arising  between  Gods.  To conclude...Someone should have created the whole earth, the sun, the moon and the stars and all the galaxies and the universe. And the same person should have appointed sun to give light by day, the moon to give light by night, etc. Have you pondered on this? First of all, who created the Earth, the sun, the moon, the planets, the galaxies, the Universe? There should be someone or some force who created Earth and other heavenly bodies. Know this supernatural force before it is too late.

If we agree that there should be someone or some force who created this creation, then are we giving the honor and praise that this supreme force is worthy of..?

Think about this. We commonly hear most of the people saying that GOD is 'one' called by different names at different places. What a clever idea (of Satan) to deceive the creation!! Just like one person is called by different persons as 'son', 'father', 'uncle', 'friend', 'brother' owing to the relationship they hold with that same person, GOD is called by different names, is what they say. Here same person is called by different names by different relationships. But take the example of a father. Can he tolerate his son calling someone else as father (or) can a father of a son keep quiet if his son calls him uncle or brother or by any other relationship other than father..? No way !! He cannot give his father-ship to any one else nor allow any one to play the role of a father to his son. Same way is our heavenly father who created us. There is no other relationship between THE CREATOR and HIS creation except a similar relationship of a 'Father' and 'Son'. Father expects respect and reverence from HIS son and corrects the son wherever necessary. The son has to obey his father in all things and respect HIM.   The original creator cannot tolerate HIS creation to honor some one or some thing else instead of HIM. HE wants complete reverence from HIS creation to HIMSELF. When the CREATOR is still alive (Bible says, HE is the living GOD), why are we not worshiping HIM directly? Is it justifiable to worship creatures (or parts of HIS creation) or images made with hands rather than Creator?

If you got the point and if you are really looking forward to know the truth and to know your original creator, then just close your eyes and communicate with the supreme being by saying 'True owner and creator of this universe, supreme GOD, please reveal yourself to me, and let me know the complete truth". Seek for this truth earnestly and you will receive/ you will be guided to the truth. The supreme being cannot be contained in structures or buildings made by human hands. HIS presence is felt by anyone who prays to HIM. HE is manifested in Spirit. Therefore anyone who prays to HIM in Spirit will communicate with HIM directly. HE is present everywhere and omnipotent. HE deserves worship and HE desires worship in spirit and truth. So consider worshiping the true GOD who is your creator. Identify your creator.

JESUS by word commanded, and everything obeyed HIS voice. HE never did magic or unnecessary acts. Diseases, sickness, devils, creation, money, food and even life and death - everything obeyed HIS voice.

1. JESUS proclaimed that HE is the son of MOST HIGH GOD

2. JESUS healed all sick and showed compassion towards all. HE first healed all and preached the kingdom of GOD. Because a sound body will have a sound mind to listen the word of GOD and understand.

3. JESUS was tempted by satan but resisted and rebuked satan to worship the most high GOD as per the scriptures.

4. Demons and evil spirits fled at HIS rebuke and also acknowledged JESUS to be the son of GOD.

5. JESUS raised dead to life. JESUS said that life and death are in HIS hands.

6. JESUS preached with authority. HE taught many mysteries and also the hidden mysteries from the Bible. HE explained references about HIM in the old testament clearly.

7. Even the sea and the storms obeyed voice of JESUS. Creation obeyed JESUS.

8. JESUS did many creative miracles like turning water into grape juice, giving eyes to a totally blind person from birth, etc.

9. JESUS fed thousands of people with a few loaves of bread and few pieces of fish.

10. JESUS clearly said that HE is the way, the truth and the life. No one can enter the kingdom of GOD except through HIM.

11. JESUS declared how HE has to suffer for the sake of the world and how HE will rise again on third day.

12. JESUS rose up on third day as HE declared, after HE was tortured  grievously and nailed to the cross. HIS tomb which is newly made is an empty tomb and does not have any bones after JESUS rose, and is still the same even today. HE rose up along with HIS body, spent some time strengthening HIS disciples after rising and then went up to HIS FATHER. JESUS sent comforter - the HOLY SPIRIT to abide continually with us.

13. JESUS showed forgiveness upon the cross also and asked HIS Father to forgive all those who have sought to kill HIM.

14. JESUS gave power to HIS disciples also to heal and deliver the needy, just like how JESUS healed and showed love, when HE was in the world.

15. Even today JESUS is the same and working miracles through HIS anointed persons to thousands and thousands of depressed people. HE came to call sinners to repentance.

16. JESUS showed grace all through HIS life to every one and proved that love can win over all kind of sinners to transform them into children of righteousness and can break hardened hearts to repentance.

17. JESUS preached to love enemies also and feed them if they are hungry, give them water if they are thirsty. HE asked every one to cooperate with the enemy, if hit on one cheek, to show the other cheek as well; HE showed grace to the adulteress woman and challenged all who gathered to pelt stones at her according to the law, for the person in whom sin is not found to throw a stone at her 'first', for which every one went away so that there was none to accuse her. Then JESUS also sent her away saying "SIN NO MORE" forgiving her.

18. Finally JESUS is the author and finisher. HE is the beginning and the end. HE was there when the worlds are created. If the worlds are to end, HE will make the end. HE is witnessed in old testament in many instances. References of JESUS are found in other religion's sacred books also. JESUS is not GOD of America only, as falsely propagated by some religious fanatics, but HE is the creator - HE is the GOD of the whole world. JESUS is the way, the truth and the life. To follow JESUS is not to follow a religion but to know the truth and enter the eternal kingdom through JESUS. Christianity is the way - JESUS being the only way, it is the responsibility of each christian to proclaim the good news to each and every one AND whether others accept or not is their personal choice. To proclaim is the commandment of JESUS to every one who believes HIM to be the son of GOD as GOD does not like any one to perish.

There are thousands of reasons why you should trust JESUS and accept HIM to be the true GOD and your personal savior but only a few are listed above which are important. What more does any one need to believe JESUS. HIS salvation is too good to believe. Because of some greedy persons among Christians, because of evil ways of some Christians who do not live a life worthy of the LORD, LORD's name is getting unnecessary and bad propaganda, some times blasphemed among heathen, which is a sad thing. But one should read the Bible - The new testament more importantly, to understand this great Man (GOD in human form, come down to save HIS creation with HIS own arm), who is different from every one in this world. Old testament need to be read for reference. Definitely you start feeling something different in you. So do not miss this opportunity!! Take the help of a good believer to guide you in the beginning. May GOD bless you. HIS birth and HIS acts are simple to understand and straight forward. There are no myths, no man created stories, no complexities. Bible and this world carries evidence for all HIS works and how HE rose up on third day after HE was nailed.


Because there is such a strong will and responsibility upon the shoulders of the disciples of JESUS, they traveled all across the world and preached the gospel after JESUS went to HIS HEAVENLY FATHER. They were tortured and killed. They knew that beforehand only that they will be killed but they were ready as they felt it a honor to be made a sacrifice preaching the gospel of the LORD. But after that many souls including those who tortured them all across the globe repented and accepted JESUS as their personal savior and they in turn carried the gospel to many others. There was a huge gathering of saved souls and this is continuing.

JESUS commanded every believer (who believes that JESUS is the son of GOD) to go and proclaim the good news to one and all on the globe. HE is received and accepted by every one who tastes and sees HIS goodness.To preach is our work, to receive or not to receive is the decision of the hearer because every one who does not receive are reserved for judgment and eternal condemnation, as the grace which JESUS showed by giving up  HIMSELF as a living sacrifice for the sins of the world is very expensive.  Those  who have accepted JESUS will not stand in judgment because the cost for their sins is already paid by JESUS on the cross. Forgiveness is a free gift 'freely given' at the cost of GOD's own son JESUS CHRIST'S BLOOD for the sake of the world. So hurry up and accept JESUS as your personal saviour because time is running out and the grace of GOD will end some day.

Why should we share our faith of Good News?

The Bible says - All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of GOD. No one is able to meet the standards of GOD because GOD judges each and every INTENT of thought and heart of a person at all times. A person need not sin directly by participating in adultery or murder. The Bible says that a person has already committed adultery in heart if one looks at a woman with lust; already committed murder if one curses his brother (any one). Many of us use fowl language or bad word. Every person would have said some thing or the other to some one in their life, would have thought badly or cursed in heart. The most common thing in most of our lives being 'anger'. Unknowingly also we sometimes think wrongly about many people though we know little about them. We easily misunderstand, misinterpret and mis-communicate. We do not leave many things to GOD for judging. We ourselves judge every one. We act for ourselves a very good lawyer (defending our works), but to others we are a very good judge (criticizing and condemning their works). We should leave judgment to GOD because we will also be judged in the same way otherwise. GOD is HOLY and PURE. With HIM there is no injustice or unrighteousness or unholy thing. Therefore every one whom GOD takes into HIS kingdom need to have all HIS characters of holiness, purity and righteousness. Darkness cannot dwell with GOD. Who is going to make sinful man blameless and sin free..? If we say that we are righteous we lie, and also make GOD a liar. If our conscience is condemning us, we are sin conscious.These messages are for those who are sin conscious and not for those who feel they are righteous and think whatever they are doing is right.

We see many people going into the rivers and taking 'holy' dips to attain salvation. Water may cleanse the person from dirt on the body BUT cannot cleanse the dirt in the heart of any person. And after coming out of the river, body will be exposed to dirt again.


Because of the sin of disobedience of the first man 'Adam', Bible says - sin born out of disobedience is already conceived in our bodies as Adam's descendants. Bible says - by birth, we are born sinners. Only the blood of a sinless man who is not born out of normal sexual intercourse (the fruit eaten by disobedience has given the knowledge of good and evil and made Adam and Eve sin conscious), can only cleanse the sins of the whole world. There fore JESUS is born in virgin Mary's womb overshadowed by the Holy Spirit. JESUS is complete man (human) and complete GOD. Because GOD did not like to see HIS creation perish, HE HIMSELF chose to come down and save man from doom. HE chose to sacrifice HIMSELF as a living sacrifice so that HE could teach satan a very good lesson, which has been deceiving mankind. Just as sin entered through 1 man Adam, righteousness is imparted to every one whoever believes JESUS and through 1 man JESUS, sin is removed. GOD created man to rule over the earth. Because of Adam's disobedience, that power went to satan as Adam listened to satan's voice. Till date, Satan is ruling over man by inflicting wounds, sickness, poverty, problems, and all kinds of sins and pervertions.

But the promise of GOD to mankind is whoever trusts JESUS-the beloved son of GOD, GOD will save that person's life from destruction. JESUS came down to carry out HIS FATHER'S mission faithfully and successfully so that mankind would be saved. Because of HIS obedience, JESUS rose the third day as HE promised, conquered satan and returned successfully to HIS FATHER. HOLY SPIRIT is sent to comfort and assist us till JESUS returns as KING. HE dwells with us and within us as SPIRIT but one day all eyes will behold HIM as a KING returned to take avenge of all HIS enemies. JESUS had been compassionate and loving till now, but when HE returns as KING, HE will be seen avenging HIS people and crushing satan under foot. HE will be full of fury.

A person who does evil hates light because the light exposes the person's evil and dark works. A person who follows truth does not hate light but comes to the light so that his works become visible and evident. When a person starts following JESUS, the person will be overcome by the love of JESUS so that the person slowly recedes from sin. Getting away from sin becomes easier now and does not become a burden of self-righteousness. So one needs to repent for all his sins and ask JESUS to lead him and correct him from that moment. Salvation becomes easier through JESUS - HE had already paid for our sins, we are no more sinners. We are made righteous because of HIM taking all the burden of the sin of the world on HIM. If you could believe such a great salvation, you have at last found the right path. Because to give salvation to you and me, JESUS paid a price very expensive, HIS life on cross. They found no fault in JESUS, but still handed over JESUS to be nailed on cross because JESUS said HE is the son of GOD. But now JESUS is risen and with HIS FATHER, continually pleading on behalf of us.

GOD could have used angels to do the job of spreading good news but he didn't. Only redeemed sinners can tell lost sinners about CHRIST. CHRIST came to save sinners in this world. The salvation to mankind by the sacrifice of JESUS is a 'FREE' gift, which is why it is taken so lightly and not regarded. It is the ultimate 'grace' of the LORD to save HIS chosen ones, and the last chance to every one before the fury and wrath of the LORD begins to fall on earth. The wickedness has grown to unlimited boundaries but still the LORD is waiting because HE would like to see that none of us should perish. But one day, the grace will end and this 'FREE' salvation will not be found, even though one seeks hard to find. Before that, every person who tasted the goodness of the LORD, goodness of JESUS should proclaim the gospel of salvation, the good news of salvation to each and every one. This is also the commandment of JESUS to all those who love HIM, trust and believe HIM to be the son of GOD. This also demonstrates our love for GOD, GOD first loved us being rich in mercy through CHRIST. So lets proclaim the good news and before it is too late, we should all pray that 'every one' should be saved. Praise GOD!!

James 1: 2, 3

² My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;

³ Knowing [this], that the trying of your faith worketh patience.

None of us would like to fall into temptations or endure testing. Even if there is an indication that enduring temptation makes us more refined and yield good results, we usually avoid or try our best to avoid falling into temptation. And James is talking about falling into diverse temptations, which he says is to be counted ‘ALL JOY’. What a funny statement, one would suppose..? 

But, there is so much behind this statement, if we understand why. To understand this, we need wisdom. We need someone who can divide the word and explain us. 

We depend on many preachers, some of whom are moved by the HOLY SPIRIT, but some preach in terms of worldly knowledge and their own understanding. If we are instructed by a man of GOD moved by HOLY SPIRIT, that will bring us good things and blessings in our life, else we remain in the same burdens, problems and sicknesses without deliverance. 

We most importantly need the help of HOLY SPIRIT to guide us and help us to discern the word and give us understanding. So first of all, pray earnestly that GOD should bless us with instruction and understanding. That GOD should bless us with wisdom.

Every faith person will be tested. A child preparing for an exam will have fear of the test if child is not prepared. More often, child likes to pass the test without preparation. But is this possible? No. But if the child is prepared for the test, then child is ready any time to take the test and does not have any fear. In the same way, a person who is prepared for test does not have fear and joyfully steps forward. In what way, the person has to be prepared for the test? By always trusting in the LORD, recognize that the LORD is a never failing GOD, to be trusted at all times and building up this faith by loads and loads, achieved by continuous reading of the word of GOD and prayer. Getting instructed daily will never allow fear to enter our minds and keeps us close to GOD. We will never feel the pinch of fear when we are prepared. This is because word of GOD drives away fear from us and makes us strong in faith. Word of GOD will shield us from satan - trying to throw the weapon of fear at us. 

When we are strong in faith, whatever the problem is, we will look at the mountain (problem) and throw it (command it) into the sea in the name of JESUS. Why ‘Sea’? Because anything thrown into the sea will never rise up or come back. Once we have done our part, remember Battle is the LORD’s. The LORD says Battle is mine, and not yours, so that we can rest in peace.

Falling into diverse temptations and trials makes our faith strong and gives joy in our hearts that we are given the test. Be it a small test or a big test, we need to acquire patience to conquer the problem through trial, test and temptation.

GOD has already given us victory over the problem. We need to understand this before pondering upon any critical situation or problem. 

Problem will perfect our faith in GOD. To the world, problems are upon the heads of the persons facing them, but to us in CHRIST, they are under our feet.

If we are in fear or still fearing, that means we are lacking wisdom and knowledge.  We should ask GOD to give us wisdom, not once but continuously. 

James 1: 4, 5

⁴ But let patience have [her] perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

⁵ If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all [men] liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

When we ask we should not waver regarding receiving wisdom but we should trust GOD. HE gives liberally to all those who seek wisdom.

James 1: 6

⁶ But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.

Wisdom solves problems.

We should ask wisdom when we are sick so that we can bind satan in JESUS name.

We should ask wisdom when we are in problems so that we can bind the problem in JESUS name.

We should ask wisdom when we are in debt or loss or financial problem so that we can bind it in JESUS name.

We get wealth, health, peace – every good thing - when we have wisdom. 

Are our problems taking longer time to get solved? Is the answer delaying?

We should not worry because GOD is preparing much more than we asked or expected. HIS delay makes the answer sweeter and brings more bliss. There is purpose for HIS delay which we may not perceive but if we could understand that we should wait patiently to receive HIS blessing in abundance then we will stay calm waiting for the goodness of GOD to take its shape, and without fear.

We should pray without faltering. We should pray without fainting. We should pray without ceasing.  

Luke 18: 1 – 5

¹ And he spake a parable unto them [to this end], that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;

² Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man:

³ And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary.

⁴ And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man;

⁵ Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.

Widow is one who does not have enough money even to feed herself and her family properly. (In these days, at least women have more freedom, but in the days of CHRIST, they had many hardships and a widow had even more problems financially and mentally.) She wouldn’t have money to pay any fees to the judge who takes up her case. She is seeking justice. Unless she is confident about her right to justice, she would not be so stubborn to approach the judge so many times. With perseverance, she approached the judge every day.  The judge on the contrary is a man who would have regard neither to man nor GOD, which clearly indicates that HE is not a man of values. He knew he cannot expect any money for his services from the widow. He would have surely respected and taken up her case if she had given him money. 

But he had to give in to the persistence of the woman because he must have lost patience seeing her every day seeking justice from him. This can surely affect his name and fame among the public. He was finally overcome by the widow’s determination and decides to avenge her adversary. 

Luke 18: 6 - 8

⁶ And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith.

⁷ And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?

⁸ I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?

If the unjust judge got weary of the widow’s cry for justice and hastened to do her work, then how much more our heavenly father who is a just GOD will hasten to answer our prayer and our cry, for we are HIS chosen elect. Though HE bears long with us, it is for our refinement and to bring a more stable ‘faith person’ out of us. The long bearing will yield patience in us and the result would be more refreshing to our souls. 

Brother Shyam Kishore in his testimony said that he endured many years in waiting, for GOD’s word to use him for HIS service. HE saw JESUS coming to him, giving him a leaf and promising him how he would be preaching and healing many in the days to come. JESUS also showed how cancer patients will be healed by changing the discolored color of the leaf to its original color. But Bro. Shyam Kishore had to wait for 11 to 12 years for the call from JESUS to start ministry. He many times felt he may not be called for HIS service and so finally started pursuing his career. It was at that time when he was about to get settled, JESUS called him for to start ministry. Bro. Shyam Kishore in the beginning feared, regarding how many years he may have to wait for getting a good number of people to attend his church, looking at the state of all churches. But after starting, the response is huge and JESUS started healing all kinds of patients, remove all kinds of problems and deliver persons from their bindings. What he thought could have been a waste of time for 12 years turned out to have exceeded all limits with thousands of people thronging his premises wherever he preaches. The result is too good to believe after waiting.

Finally, JESUS is warning Christians that law is blinding the minds of people and is the cause for crumbling faith, the result bringing no answer to the prayers of Christians.

2 Corinthians 3: 14 - 17

¹⁴ But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same veil untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which [veil] is done away in Christ.

¹⁵ But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the veil is upon their heart.

¹⁶ Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the veil shall be taken away.

¹⁷ Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord [is], there [is] liberty.

The Old Testament should be used as a reference to behold the beauty of the New Testament. Old Testament’s law is the shadow; New Testament’s grace is true and original.

May the true LORD grant each and every one of us reading and meditating upon HIS word, grace and wisdom to understand and perceive HIS word.

(1)   What is good fight of faith? Why is it called good fight?

(2)   Are we eating healthy food? Even if it is produced by the best farmers through best seeds, best cultivation methods and best fertilizers?

1 Timothy 6:12

Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

 GOD is asking us to fight a good fight because JESUS already defeated satan on the cross. We are fighting with the defeated satan, therefore we are fighting a good fight.

It is like a pre-planned film shooting where hero already knows that he need to only put up show and raise hand for his enemy to go and fall (enemy also knows he has to fall). In a movie, viewers start speculating what the end could be, but the Director already knows the end as it was he, who made the movie. In the beginning, villain appears to trouble the hero but hero knows that he need to put up a show, the villain is already defeated even before the movie is made – it is all pre-planned.  In the same way, satan is already defeated, we are fighting a defeated satan. Once satan knows that we are equipped with word and wisdom, and unhindered in faith, it flees when we command it in the name of JESUS. So rise up in the name of JESUS and witness the fall of devil.

Faith is a violent and aggressive force and fights until it arrives at its goal. So a believer should never give up and hold on to the promise of GOD until he sees his wish fulfilled. So let us never give up. Faith is tapping, experiencing and using GOD’s power. Faith gives comfort.

When we pray we should open our mouth and agree with the word of GOD by saying, we are the sons and daughters of the GOD Most High, and we are righteous because of JESUS, and then claim the promise of GOD repeating the words from scripture. If we are praying for any sickness or any problem then we should bind satan in the name of JESUS and command it to leave in the name of JESUS. This being done, we comply with GOD’s word and express our trust in HIS word. This will loosen satan’s hold and it will be compelled to leave as we pray and say this many times. Sickness and problems are the produce of satan.

Satan tries to lie by showing many people who are Christians and still living in poverty, troubles, sickness, etc. But let us not judge anyone as we are mere humans with limited capabilities and perceptions.

We need to look only at the word of GOD which gives us enough strength to rely on HIM. The earnest expectation will bring manifestation. So we need to continue in word and prayer so that HIS grace is manifested in us.

But a believer is at risk of falling away when he yields or responds to worldly deceits. And what one doesn’t resist, has every right to remain with that person. 

 Mathew 7: 7 – 11

⁷ Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:

⁸ For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

⁹ Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?

¹⁰ Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?

¹¹ If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

Every good gift comes from GOD.

Luke 11: 9 – 13

⁹ And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.

¹⁰ For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

¹¹ If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if [he ask] a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent?

¹² Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion?

¹³ If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall [your] heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask HIM?

The best gift GOD can give us is the Holy Spirit. Because Holy Spirit is the one who can give us wisdom, wealth, health, peace, etc. He is the comforter and restorer. He already is residing in us from the day we believed and accepted JESUS as our personal savior. Holy Spirit can do miracles.

That is why, David prayed GOD not to take away the Holy Spirit from him even if everything else is lost. In the Old Testament days, Holy Spirit rested on prophets and some people for some time and is taken away, but after Christ ascended into heaven, Holy Spirit is sealed in every one who ever believed JESUS. Without Holy Spirit it is impossible to know GOD and understand secrets.

1 Corinthians 2: 14

¹⁴ But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know [them], because they are spiritually discerned.

All GOD’s secrets can be known only through Holy Spirit, which can be madness to this world. Holy Spirit binds us and brings us closer to GOD, HE is the best teacher.

1 Corinthians 2: 5 – 13

⁵ That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

⁶ Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:

⁷ But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, [even] the hidden [wisdom], which God ordained before the world unto our glory:

⁸ Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known [it], they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

⁹ But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

¹⁰ But God hath revealed [them] unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

¹¹ For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.

¹² Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

¹³ Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

We are all sealed with the Holy Spirit the moment we accept JESUS as our personal savior. Holy Spirit always guides and warns us at every circumstance and situation. Sometimes we overcome or ignore the Holy Spirit and take our own decision using our own righteousness, leading us into troubles and more problems than former. It is then that we again turn to GOD asking HIM to talk to us and guide us. But when HE guides us, we should not do the same mistake again - ignoring the Holy Spirit’s advice. When we stay close to GOD through word and prayer HE anoints us more and fills us with more wisdom and revelations. Things we never knew and wonderful mysteries would be revealed to us. That makes one a complete person.

GOD gives Holy Spirit freely to all those who would love HIM. Mystery is opened by Holy Spirit. Even the Bible, word of GOD is a mystery.

JESUS had borne all our sins, he has carried away all the sins of the world, and HE is the holy lamb of the LORD sacrificed for the sins of the world. We only need to accept this and repent, but with a truthful heart and ask JESUS to help us come out of the sin – after that we need to only read the word of GOD and stay close to HIM in prayer e-v-e-r-y-d-a-y. Rest, the comforter and restorer, the Holy Spirit will take care.

First if we see, where from is the sickness coming? Satan is the cause in each of our lives, until we overcome it with the power of GOD claiming the word of GOD, but how did sickness enter the world?

See what JESUS answered satan when it tempted JESUS, after JESUS was baptized and HE fasted 40 days in the wilderness – how satan asked JESUS to turn the stones into bread and satisfy HIS hunger.

Mathew 4: 4

⁴ But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

Through the word of GOD, we get more than bread; we get power over everything in this world.

Let’s turn to Genesis for some revelation on the bread (food) we eat and the water we drink – how this is linked up to infirmity and sickness in human bodies.

Genesis 1: 11, 12

¹¹ And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, [and] the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed [is] in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.

¹² And the earth brought forth grass, [and] herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed [was] in itself, after his kind: and God saw that [it was] good.

Here we see how GOD mentioned the vegetation of the earth as ‘Good’. Then all cattle, all creeping things, all beasts, all fowl and all fish were created.

And lastly GOD made man and woman. GOD gives the herb and fruit trees to man for food and herb to animals (including fish, fowl, etc) as food.

Genesis 1: 29 - 31

²⁹ And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which [is] upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which [is] the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.

³⁰ And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein [there is] life, [I have given] every green herb for meat: and it was so.

³¹ And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, [it was] very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

And GOD says ‘it was very good’.

But then Adam and Eve fell for the words of satan and sinned against GOD. We will see what happened then.

Genesis 3: 17, 19

¹⁷ And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed [is] the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat [of] it all the days of thy life;

¹⁸ Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;

¹⁹ In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou [art], and unto dust shalt thou return.

GOD could not curse HIS own image in which Adam and Eve were created; therefore HE cursed earth for their sake.

Hence the vegetation of the earth became bad for all who ate it. Water also was cursed when GOD cursed earth. Therefore sickness entered the bodies of all, who ate of this cursed vegetation and drank of the cursed water. Hence the whole of mankind and animals, fish, fowl and creeping things all bear the curse indirectly through the earth. We can see how satan defiled the creation of GOD. But we have good news in JESUS. Each one of us is able to conquer everything through the power of JESUS on the cross.

Food is already cursed. We are eating the cursed food. ‘Man’ made in the image of GOD is eating cursed food. Even when one eats the best food produced by the best farmers through best seeds and best cultivation methods and best fertilizers, curse still remains and will cause sickness. We see the worlds richest and the most famous persons also falling sick though they buy the best food.

That which is made cursed is also removed by the blood of JESUS. We need to understand this great revelation, accept and remove the sickness and infirmity from the food we eat and the water we drink every day in JESUS name.

That is why JESUS is saying man cannot live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of GOD. By the word of GOD, we can make the food pure and healthy when we eat and drink. This is the wisdom of GOD. When the food is blessed it is cleansed from sickness, weakness, impurity, and then we will be blessed in memory power, wisdom, etc which is required for excelling in everything, in this world.

We can see the promise of GOD for those who follow HIM.

Exodus 23: 25, 26

²⁵ And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and HE shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.

²⁶ There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil.

Many of us do pray before eating to bless the food we eat, but without truly knowing the reason it becomes a vain prayer. Now that we know the reason, let us pray every day before eating and drinking – and remove sickness and infirmity in JESUS name, from the food we eat and the water we drink. In Old Testament we see sickness being removed, but infirmity was not removed, whereas in New Testament infirmity also is removed by the blood of JESUS.

Hebrews 7:28

For the law maketh men high priests which have infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was since the law, [maketh] the Son, who is consecrated (perfected) for evermore.

Though the LORD led the Israelites in a mighty way, yet their eyes and ears were shut so that they could not perceive nor understand the LORD’s faithfulness and love towards HIS people.

Deuteronomy 29: 4, 5

⁴ Yet the LORD hath not given you an heart to perceive, and eyes to see, and ears to hear, unto this day.

⁵ And I have led you forty years in the wilderness: your clothes are not waxen old upon you, and thy shoe is not waxen old upon thy foot.

But now we have been revealed many things and through JESUS we have power over everything in HIS name.

Mathew 6: 25

²⁵ Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?

Therefore brethren and sisters - be of good cheer that the sickness and infirmity have no power over us in JESUS, and continue to cling to this faith – bind sickness and infirmity in JESUS name and remove them every day from the food ‘we’ eat and water ‘we’ drink. It is more blessing when we pray and bind sickness for our family members, our church members, pastors and their families in JESUS name. So pray for ‘all’, starting with self, then family, then church. May GOD bless you, amen!
