My people are destroyed for
lack of knowledge. (Hosea 4:6)
This is the
statement given by GOD - testifying how HIS own people that believed on HIS
name are being destroyed due to lack of knowledge. By this we can understand,
how important is knowledge about GOD – more importantly that which is revealed
and confirmed by the HOLY SPIRIT when we spend privately in the LORD’s
presence.
Let the LORD be magnified,
who has pleasure in the prosperity of HIS servant. (Psalm 35:27)
This is the
LORD’S heart towards all HIS people. He has pleasure in the prosperity of HIS
servants. Prosperity here refers to health prosperity, material prosperity,
soul prosperity and peace prosperity.
Our GOD who
brought us victory through the death of HIS Son, has great delight when we take
advantage of the great salvation & deliverance HE has set forth in JESUS !!
Once we are
sorry about our sin(s), and ask GOD to forgive, we are forgiven.
When we are
forgiven, GOD puts an end to that case and to help us understand that HE really
will never remember them anymore, HE wipes them away as a cloud. HE will not
remember them anymore.
The problem
is, we keep remembering them. The devil knows that as long as we remember our
past, we get condemned. So he keeps reminding us of our sins, of our past and
keeps accusing us.
Unless we
have good understanding and knowledge about our forgiveness, we won’t resist
the devil.
We resist
the devil only when we have the knowledge, and then the devil flees from us.
Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the
devil, and he will flee from you. (James 4:7)
The devil
trembles when a believer prays in the knowledge of his redemption.
Once we are
forgiven, we are declared righteous by GOD.
The problem
is, we don’t keep declaring this, though GOD declared us as “righteous”.
We should keep
declaring loud that we are righteous every day. When we pray individually and
in family, we should thank GOD that we are made righteous through the blood of
JESUS. Remember, our enemy – the devil is also listening and he trembles each
time you declare. In fact, he gets weak knees whenever he hears this.
For a
healing to happen, the person has to be righteous. For the person to be righteous,
he has to be forgiven.
So now,
after being cleansed in the Calvary’s fountain of GOD’S forgiveness offered
through the blood of JESUS on the Cross, we become righteous. Once forgiven, we
are now clothed in the righteousness of JESUS. This is our armor and major weapon
against our enemy – the devil.
Now, when
we command sickness to leave our body, it obeys us because we have commanded
the sickness to leave in the full knowledge that we are righteous. We shall be
healed.
The woman
with the issue of blood sealed her healing in the Savior, even before she
touched the hem of the garment that JESUS was wearing. Her faith put a demand
for healing on the integrity of GOD and she received her healing. Finally,
JESUS had to acknowledge her healing which she already received. JESUS – the Creator
testified of her faith.
Faith in
GOD moves mountains. Mountain moving faith comes from the knowledge and
understanding we have about our redemption and our GOD. We can keep growing in
this understanding and knowledge by our steady fellowship with JESUS, so that
we can keep alive our faith and our faith also keeps growing along.
“Have faith in God,” Jesus answered. “Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw
yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that
what they say will happen, it will be done for them. (Mark 11:22-23)
