Why sickness and problems to Christians..?!?

(1)   Why are many Christians found to be in sicknesses and problems?
(2)   Are these sicknesses/ problems profitable or Loss to a Christian for the redemption of his/ her spirit?
(3)   What is God saying to a Christian?
Every believer has three components à Spirit + Soul + Body
Spirit is from God and is important. Body decays after death, but Spirit is near God and eternal. During judgment, Spirit returns to the body and body wakes up.  Those who are saved and found to be upright in their ways do not enter judgment but those who are not saved or who has not believed Jesus will be brought to judgment.
1 Thessolonians 5: 23
23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and [I pray God] your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
All good things (riches, health, happiness, peace) come out of this Spirit when the Spirit begins to prosper in Jesus. Our heart is connected to Spirit as all good things or bad things come out of this heart. We may be looking good outside or we may be putting up our best selves to the outside world, but only we know what we are inside other than Jesus. So once this heart is brought to yearn for good conscience then only blessings start pouring. This heart which always devises evil (as said in the Bible), due to its’ inborn sin, can be tamed and disciplined only by continuous food to the spirit through Word.
3 John: 2
2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
Why do we find more problems/ sicknesses in Christian families?
Because GOD IS A RIGHTEOUS GOD, there is NO COMPROMISE. He does not show partiality towards a Christian if he is backsliding. Because of prayers God may protect that person, but GOD punishes the person for all the sinful behavior. When a christian moves away from the way of God, due to the comforts/blessings he received or a Christian is in the way of sinful world, God gives him time to change and waits to see the person’s repentance, forgiving the person whenever the person comes to God. But if the person is not changing and has no true repentance, continuously repeating sinful behavior, then GOD allows the person to Satan which puts problems/ sicknesses in the person’s life. Then if the person repents, his soul gets saved after death. Sometimes, GOD understands nature of person, who after receiving healing/ blessing, tend to return back to his old ways/ backslide. So he would not remove the thorn Satan has put to keep the person in discipline until death so that at least person’s soul is saved.
1 Corinthians 5: 1-5
1 It is reported commonly [that there is] fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father's wife.
2 And ye are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that hath done this deed might be taken away from among you.
3 For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, [concerning] him that hath so done this deed,
4 In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ,
5 To deliver such a one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.
God wants us to keep far from sinful, worldly people who can influence a growing Christian. These sinful people can be from Christian community only which is even more a bigger setback. But this is not completely possible for we have to daily mingle with all types of people in our work places and wherever we go, even in our own homes with our own people. So Paul is referring to keep away from that wicked person with nature of fleshy desires living within us. If we obey God’s Word and allow him to lead us, then he will lead us safely. We can bring others also to repentance, through our behavior and testimony.
1 Corinthians 5: 9-13
9 I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators:
10 Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world.
11 But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such a one no not to eat.
12 For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within?
13 But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.
If we could judge ourselves looking into the Mirror which is Bible and ask GOD to rectify those areas which make us look ugly to God, God is faithful to forgive us and transform us so that we do not enter judgment.
1 Corinthians 11: 31, 32
31 For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.
32 But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.
Sometimes we should allow God to chasten us which is profitable for our transformation. HE will blot out all our transgressions forever and will not even remember them. We may remember them but HE is faithful not to bring them to remembrance because of our true Repentance. Furthermore God’s love is too high to comprehend or understand, HE not only came to save us by becoming an eternal sacrifice to save us (this world)  through HIS Blood, HE made us also partakers of his Son-ship. He is our Eldest Brother and High Priest mediating and appealing to God in our place.
Hebrews 12: 5-10
5 And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him:
6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.
7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?
8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.
9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected [us], and we gave [them] reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?
10 For they verily for a few days chastened [us] after their own pleasure; but he for [our] profit, that [we] might be partakers of his holiness.
God is speaking to man, but man by the hardness of his heart, does not perceive it nor hear it.
Job 33: 14
14 For God speaketh once, yea twice, [yet man] perceiveth it not.
We should have wisdom rather than riches and gold, rather than healing of flesh (which is temporary), so that our ears and eyes would be open to HIS instruction.
Job 33: 16 – 24
16 Then he openeth the ears of men, and sealeth their instruction,
17 That he may withdraw man [from his] purpose, and hide pride from man.
18 He keepeth back his soul from the pit, and his life from perishing by the sword.
19 He is chastened also with pain upon his bed, and the multitude of his bones with strong [pain]:
20 So that his life abhorreth bread, and his soul dainty meat.
21 His flesh is consumed away, that it cannot be seen; and his bones [that] were not seen stick out.
22 Yea, his soul draweth near unto the grave, and his life to the destroyers.
23 If there be a messenger with him, an interpreter, one among a thousand, to shew unto man his uprightness:
24 Then he is gracious unto him, and saith, Deliver him from going down to the pit: I have found a ransom.
Automatically riches and health will follow us when we are found righteous and upright in God’s sight. We need not pray or appeal to God for these.
Job 1: 1-3
1 There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name [was] Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil.
2 And there were born unto him seven sons and three daughters.
3 His substance also was seven thousand sheep, and three thousand camels, and five hundred yoke of oxen, and five hundred she asses, and a very great household; so that this man was the greatest of all the men of the east.
When a person turns to God from this sinful world, the person will enjoy the goodness of health and wealth.
Job 33: 25-28
25 His flesh shall be fresher than a child's: he shall return to the days of his youth:
26 He shall pray unto God, and he will be favourable unto him: and he shall see his face with joy: for he will render unto man his righteousness.
27 He looketh upon men, and [if any] say, I have sinned, and perverted [that which was] right, and it profited me not;
28 He will deliver his soul from going into the pit, and his life shall see the light.
Job 33: 29-30
29 Lo, all these [things] worketh God oftentimes with man,
30 To bring back his soul from the pit, to be enlightened with the light of the living.
We should pray that our names be written in the Book of Life for eternal life with God. Whose names are not found in the Book of Life, they are cast into the Lake of Fire which is the second death.
Revelation 20: 11-15
11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is [the book] of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
So we should ask God to chastise us in case there is any offensive behavior in us.
Job 34: 29-32
29 When he giveth quietness, who then can make trouble? and when he hideth [his] face, who then can behold him? whether [it be done] against a nation, or against a man only:
30 That the hypocrite reign not, lest the people be ensnared.
31 Surely it is meet to be said unto God, I have borne [chastisement], I will not offend [any more]:
32 [That which] I see not teach thou me: if I have done iniquity, I will do no more.
The blessings from God when a person returns to Almighty….read on…
Job 22: 21-30
21 Acquaint now thyself with him, and be at peace: thereby good shall come unto thee.
22 Receive, I pray thee, the law from his mouth, and lay up his words in thine heart.
23 If thou return to the Almighty, thou shalt be built up, thou shalt put away iniquity far from thy tabernacles.
24 Then shalt thou lay up gold as dust, and the [gold] of Ophir as the stones of the brooks.
25 Yea, the Almighty shall be thy defence, and thou shalt have plenty of silver.
26 For then shalt thou have thy delight in the Almighty, and shalt lift up thy face unto God.
27 Thou shalt make thy prayer unto him, and he shall hear thee, and thou shalt pay thy vows.
28 Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.
29 When [men] are cast down, then thou shalt say, [There is] lifting up; and he shall save the humble person.
30 He shall deliver the island of the innocent: and it is delivered by the pureness of thine hands.
Job 11: 13-19
13 If thou prepare thine heart, and stretch out thine hands toward him;
14 If iniquity [be] in thine hand, put it far away, and let not wickedness dwell in thy tabernacles.
15 For then shalt thou lift up thy face without spot; yea, thou shalt be steadfast, and shalt not fear:
16 Because thou shalt forget [thy] misery, [and] remember [it] as waters [that] pass away:
17 And [thine] age shall be clearer than the noonday; thou shalt shine forth, thou shalt be as the morning.
18 And thou shalt be secure, because there is hope; yea, thou shalt dig [about thee, and] thou shalt take thy rest in safety.
19 Also thou shalt lie down, and none shall make [thee] afraid; yea, many shall make suit unto thee.
Job 5: 17-27
17 Behold, happy [is] the man whom God correcteth: therefore despise not thou the chastening of the Almighty:
18 For he maketh sore, and bindeth up: he woundeth, and his hands make whole.
19 He shall deliver thee in six troubles: yea, in seven there shall no evil touch thee.
20 In famine he shall redeem thee from death: and in war from the power of the sword.
21 Thou shalt be hid from the scourge of the tongue: neither shalt thou be afraid of destruction when it cometh.
22 At destruction and famine thou shalt laugh: neither shalt thou be afraid of the beasts of the earth.
23 For thou shalt be in league with the stones of the field: and the beasts of the field shall be at peace with thee.
24 And thou shalt know that thy tabernacle [shall be] in peace; and thou shalt visit thy habitation, and shalt not sin.
25 Thou shalt know also that thy seed [shall be] great, and thine offspring as the grass of the earth.
26 Thou shalt come to [thy] grave in a full age, like as a shock of corn cometh in in his season.
27 Lo this, we have searched it, so it [is]; hear it, and know thou [it] for thy good.

Thank you for your time. Hope this message brings blessings in the lives of all who read. Please pass this on to others. This message is inspired from Bro. Shyam Kishore.
